WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION?
There are typically three forms of paint correction: paint enhancement, single stage paint correction, and 2-step paint correction. Paint enhancement uses an all-in-one compound and a soft foam pad to bring back gloss and clarity, but it doesn’t remove deeper imperfections. Single stage paint correction is a more aggressive way of removing paint imperfections, using URO pads (a combination of microfiber and buffing pad) mixed with a more aggressive compound to repair defects by 50%. 2-step paint correction involves both cutting with a more aggressive compound and pad, and polishing to remove all the haze and micro marring.
